Be Great Ball celebrates the young people who attend Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland every day, and the staff, donors, and volunteers who work together to inspire youth to “BE GREAT."

Join us for an evening of celebration with stories of change and inspiration from Boys & Girls Club youth.

This year at the Be Great Ball, our online event will include:

• Entertainment highlighting the dreams and aspirations of the young people we serve
• A special guest appearance from Joe V. of Fox 12 Oregon's On the Go with Joe
• Live online paddle raise hosted by our vibrant and talented auctioneer, Dale Johannes
• A week of auction item bidding, May 4th-10th

On this special evening, we will also be honoring Erik Krieger with the Roy Ciappini “Be Great” award for his unwavering, steadfast support.

How to Bid in our Auction

Before you can begin bidding, you'll need to register. 

Registration is simple and easy! When you sign up, you'll give Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metro your name, contact info, and a method of payment so you can begin bidding as soon as the auction opens. And don't forget to put in your cell phone number so you can receive text updates about items you've bid on.

1. Head on over to create an account
2. Enter your email address
3. Wait for the verification email, and follow the link to fill out your contact information. That way we can send you updates on items you've bid on.
4. Verify your payment information, billing address, and mobile phone number are correct.
5. You're ready to start bidding when the auction opens on May 4th, and in the live auction during our event on May 7th! Preview our auction items here.
