Tune in to the livestream when our event goes live on Thursday, May 7th 2020. We recommend you use 2 devices (computer/tablet/cell phone) or open 2 tabs on your computer. This will allow you to watch the program and bid in the mobile bidding platform during the event.
This year at the Be Great Ball, our online event will include:
- Entertainment highlighting the dreams and aspirations of the young people we serve
- A special guest appearance from Joe V. of Fox 12 Oregon's On the Go with Joe
- Inspiring stories of our work and impact from CEO, Erin Hubert, and VP of Club Services, Rachel Schutz.
- Live online paddle raise hosted by our vibrant and talented auctioneer, Dale Johannes
- A week of auction item bidding, May 4th-10th
- Honoring Erik Krieger with Roy Ciappini "Be Great" award for his unwavering, steadfast support
There will be a variety of fun, sporty and glamorous silent and live auction packages for you to bid on from the comfort of your couch. And be sure to tune in for our special appeal, where we'll be encouraging our community to open their hearts, show their generosity, and help their Portland metro neighbors in need by giving to the Clubs.
How Can I Begin Bidding?
Before you can begin bidding, you'll need to register.
Registration is simple and easy! When you sign up, you'll give Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metro your name, contact info, and a method of payment so you can begin bidding as soon as the auction opens. And don't forget to put in your cell phone number so you can receive text updates about items you've bid on.
- Head on over to create an account
- Enter your email address
- Wait for the verification email, and follow the link to fill out your contact information. That way we can send you updates on items you've bid on.
- Verify your payment information, billing address, and mobile phone number are correct.
- You're ready to start bidding when the auction opens on May 4th, and in the live auction during our event on May 7th! Preview our auction items here.
