Held every February, the Portland Showcase of Wine & Cheese is a two-day event that begins with the Winemaker's Private Reserve Dinner on Thursday night followed by the Showcase of Wine & Cheese on Friday night.

Winemaker's Private Reserve Dinner
This year's Winemaker's Private Reserve Dinner A Night of Angels will pay tribute to Linda Rae Hickey, Hank Swigert, and Brot Bishop Jr., with Honorary Chair Ed Maletis and Chairs Erin Hubert and Ken O'Neil. The dinner will take place February 23, 2012 at the Portland Art Museum.
An invitation-only event, the Private Reserve Dinner is held in honor of Showcase sponsors and dedicated supporters of the Clubs. Opening with a premium wine and cheese reception followed by a gourmet dinner paired with an excellent selection of wines, the night culminates in a live auction featuring luxury travel packages, unique merchandise, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

The 2012 Showcase will be held Friday, February 24th from 6:30pm - 10:00pm.

Held at the Oregon Convention Center, the Showcase is attended by over 2,000 people and features hundreds of wines, dozens of gourmet cheeses, hot hors d’oeuvres, and other specialty foods. Guests receive a complimentary wine glass, and a tasting book to guide them through the wide selection of wines and provide a place for them to rate each wine they taste. As they make their way through the room, many stop to browse through the silent auction baskets and place a bid on their favorite packages.
Event Sponsorship: Sponsorships provide an excellent opportunity for corporations and individuals to display their commitment to improving the lives of Portland youth. Sponsor names and logos are incorporated into an extensive marketing campaign which includes TV and radio spots, print ads, outdoor boards, street banners, and direct mailings. Sponsors also receive Showcase tickets, invitations to the exclusive Winemaker’s Private Reserve Dinner, and are recognized through signage posted in prominent locations at both events.
Ad Purchase: Businesses and individuals have the opportunity to purchase ad space in the Showcase tasting book. Ads are available in four sizes: business card, quarter page, half page, and full page. 3,000 copies of the tasting book are printed and distributed to Showcase guests.
Auction Item Donation: Our auctions feature unique merchandise, travel packages, and gift certificates made possible by generous donations from the business community.
